Much Love Animal Rescue is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. Much Love is run entirely by like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save the lives of these animals. Since 2000, we have successfully placed over 2,500 animals in loving homes.

This page was started to raise awareness and funds for the MANY homeless/shelter animals in need. I would also like to add my feelings & views on animal rights in general. I hope you can help support, donate or even just spread the word about all the poor & innocent animals of the world that NEED kind and generous people to keep them healthy and alive and find them loving homes! Remember, every little bit counts and if you feel you CAN make a difference, that's the perfect start!

Just love to spend time with my family, camping, going to parks, ect...next to that my true passion is rescuing Saint Bernards and helping ANY ANIMAL that winds up at my front door. And believe me there have been alot over the years. They just seem to know where to go.

ASPCA—the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals—since we were the first humane society in North America and are one of the largest in the world today. Our founder, Henry Bergh, started the ASPCA in 1866 “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.” You can visit our website at www.aspca.org to find out about all the things we do to help animals.

We are a group that provides a central database for those involved in animal rescue. We post transports for many different rescue organizations in the U.S. and a few in Canada. We also post needs for home visits, shelter pulls, transport coordinators, and overnight stays (for pets in transport that need a one or two night stay during their trip).

Our group is mainly database-driven and is moderated. This means you don't see a lot of the duplicate postings you see on other groups. It also means that every subject line immediately tells you if you need to bother reading the entire message or not. This is accomplished by requiring that all postings follow specific guidelines and that each one be approved by a moderator prior to posting.

It may sound "strict" but trust me, it works wonderfully! I wish more of the groups to which I belong worked things this way.

I'm not a picky eater. I'll go for anything, just not a big fan of dog food. I'm always down for Mc Donalds french fries and Greenies. I don't accept substitutes. I'm just an individual with a passion for Elephants (all animals) wanting to make others aware of the cruel treatment of these animals in the circus and other entertainment industries. They are remarkable creatures.

I'm Elliott, me and mom have been together for about a year and half. I'm about 3 years old and have been blind since May '06... but I can do anything! The world is my oyster and Grandma sneaks me chicken.. I've gained some weight recently, but we are walking more and eating less. Mom keeps my coat short, but I've always wanted to grow it out. She says that I'm dirty and stinky and have no idea that I have such long hair, but I would take care of it!! I swear!

New Yorkers for Companion Animals (NYCA) rescues perfectly healthy and loving cats and dogs from being euthanized in shelters here in NYC and we are desperately needing people to adopt or foster immediately. It is literally a matter of life or death, daily! Due to lack of funding, the city shelters are forced to euthanize hundreds of the kindest animals daily. Fostering is perfect for individuals who cannot make a long term commitment to a pet but want to help keep an animal alive--by fostering you are literally saving that pet from death row. All animals are spayed or neutered and are given all of the proper shots and are temperament tested. There are never enough fosterers-please consider! HandicappedPets.com was created in 2001 to support the caretakers of Elderly, Disabled, and Handicapped Pets. I created the site in memory of Mercedes, a slightly epileptic Keeshound who was put to sleep before her time because I didn't know any better and had no way to find out more. So now I've created a way to find out more and, if you choose life for your best friend, I've found the products, services, and support you'll need.

Hardin County Dog Shelter is a very small facility with only 35 pens. You would be amazed at the amount of dogs that seem to come from out of nowhere to this underfunded, understaffed yet extremely dedicated shelter. The euth truck is scheduled to come every Tuesday.
We are deperately tying to keep the number of euth's down in Hardin Co. So far this year, only 11 dogs have been sent out in the euth truck WHICH IS SAD, BUT AWESOME!
All of our efforts are self-funded by volunteers, we could do more with any help you can offer!
A dollar from you will make a world of difference to these dogs.
This is an ongoing project. Just when we think we can breathe for a minute, all of a sudden they are overcrowded again and we are scrambling to get dogs out to rescue!

Heidi's Legacy was formed in 2002 as a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Lithia, Florida near Tampa. We also have other fosters in Naples, Palm Harbor, New Port Richey, Valrico, Brandon, Tampa, Fort Myers, Florida. So contact us to locate that special companion you are interested in. We were formed in honor of Heidi, a marvelous German Shepherd girl that died suddenly after being with us only 5 and a half months. She was abandoned and left to die in the country. Her life became the inspiration for Heidi's Legacy, an all-breed rescue that depends on your contributions. Be sure and see Heidi's story (above). We house as many as we can, but desperately need foster homes. It is painful to turn away a pet in need because we know what its fate most likely will be. Please become a foster parent. One dog at a time is all that it will take. These lives are precious. Heidi's Legacy is an organization worked by people that LOVE and RESPECT animals.
